  1. ORGANISERS

The Great Community Ball Run is organised by the Quinn family in support of Grace and Emily Quinn and their ongoing training, competition, and international sporting journey.

  1. EVENT OVERVIEW

The Great Community Ball Run is a community fundraising event where numbered balls will race through designated heats and a possible Grand Final event. Funds raised will support training, travel, coaching, competition expenses, and athlete development opportunities for Grace and Emily Quinn.

  1. ENTRY & ELIGIBILITY

Entries are open to the wider community including schools, sports clubs, equestrian groups, businesses, families, and individuals.

Participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian to enter or claim prizes.

By purchasing an entry, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. BALL ENTRIES & NUMBER ALLOCATION

Each purchased entry will be assigned a random ball number by the organisers.

Ball numbers will be allocated and communicated to entrants prior to the event date via email and/or published event updates.

Ball numbers cannot be chosen or exchanged unless otherwise determined by the organisers.

  1. COMMUNITY HEATS & GRAND FINAL

The event may include separate heats including, but not limited to:

  • Schools Heat

  • Sports Club Heat

  • Equestrian Heat

  • Community Open Heat

Heat categories, structure, qualifying numbers, and Grand Final arrangements may be amended by organisers depending on participation levels and operational requirements.

Where heats operate, the first 10 qualifying balls from each heat may progress to a Grand Final event.

Additional prizes may be awarded within individual heats.

  1. WINNER DETERMINATION

Winning entries will be determined by the finishing order of the balls during the event.

Organisers reserve the right to review recordings or footage where clarification is required.

The organisers’ decision regarding winners and placements is final.

  1. PRIZES

Prizes may include donated goods, vouchers, experiences, services, or sponsor contributions.

Prizes are subject to availability and may vary between heats and the Grand Final.

Organisers reserve the right to substitute prizes with alternatives of equal or similar value where necessary.

Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

Prize details may continue to be updated and announced leading up to the event.

  1. EVENT CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT & CANCELLATION

Organisers reserve the right to amend event dates, venue, heat structure, timings, or operational arrangements where reasonably necessary.

If weather, safety concerns, venue issues, or unforeseen circumstances require postponement, all entries will remain valid for the rescheduled event.

In the unlikely event that the fundraiser is fully cancelled and unable to proceed, refunds may be issued at the organisers’ discretion.

  1. REFUND POLICY

All entries and sponsorship purchases are non-refundable unless the event is fully cancelled by the organisers.

  1. CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP

Corporate sponsors may receive promotional opportunities including logo placement, social media recognition, printed materials, signage, and other event visibility opportunities where reasonably possible.
